Cyndi DePalermo ALHS, CNS, AHS

(A little more about me)

“In 40 years, real estate has opened so many doors to me, mainly the people I have met and the friendships I have made,” expresses Cyndi DePalermo. “One of the best doors opened for me was when I asked to teach real estate at the College Of the Mainland and Galveston College. Over the span of eight years, I was able to share my knowledge and passion for real estate with so many!”

Cyndi is highly motivated and finds great joy and fulfillment as a mentor in real estate. She loves sharing her knowledge not only with her students, but also with the agents of her brokerage Red Diamond Realty. In fact, her favorite part of being in real estate is her team.

“I have some great agents who work with me, and we work together every day in one big room,” she smiles. “We learn from one another. I like having my husband work with me daily, as well. His support is amazing, and I could not have accomplished all I have without him.”

While opening Red Diamond Realty and training the next generation of top producers wasn’t exactly part of her master plan, she is grateful to a God who had other plans and knew exactly what she needed.

I want to see my business grow and continue to support the agents who chose to work with me to be more successful every year,” she reveals. “My biggest challenge was myself and overcoming my fears and feeling confident. It took me opening up my own brokerage to conquer that.”

Besides her personal rewards, she has been consistently awarded top producer accolades. Her most recent achievement is the Award of Excellence Winner for Outstanding Customer Service from the Better Business Bureau.

Her success over the past three decades is largely due to her dedication to continually be learning and staying up to date with new information, especially concerning technology. Plus, she isn’t a one-woman show. She has an administrative assistant and an office manager who help her with daily activities and tasks and employs a Marketing Specialist to handle the marketing for Red Diamond Realty.

She also credits her success to her team which consists of highly vetted agents who either she knows well or have come highly recommended. At her small boutique style brokerage, their secret weapon is specializing in service that goes above and beyond. “I love mentoring my agents and seeing them become even more successful and able to meet their business and personal goals. Helping others succeed helps me succeed.”

With such accolades as being an Accredited Home Staging Specialist (AHS), an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS), A Certified Neighborhood Specialist (CNS) an American Warrior Professional and member of the International Association of Real Estate Professionals Cyndi is highly experienced, ready and able to help with all aspects of your buying and/or selling experience. “I'm passionate about servicing my clients. I like to meet each of their real estate needs and like to customize plans and goals to help them achieve their goals,” reports Cyndi.

Cyndi is a member of Pilot International, the Dickinson Historical Society, Dickinson Chamber of Commerce and the Dickinson Education Foundation Board of Directors. She supports many organizations, such as little league, MI Lewis, and several military organizations. She especially loves supporting teachers and first responders.

Cyndi i s also Host of Emmy Nominated TV show American Dream - Selling Houston.

Outside of work, her main priority is spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. “My grandchildren motivate me. I want to be a great Mammalu who can afford to spend time with them and do fun things. I want to be a good role model for them, as well as for my agents,” she states. “I get up every day, no matter how bad or tired I might feel, I dress up and show up. I adhere to a schedule as much as possible to sometimes give life balance.”

Part of that balance is going dancing with her husband. You might see them out at the country dance halls two-stepping every weekend. They are also new boat owners and so excited to spend some time on lakes and bayous. Much of this freedom and financial security is part of why she is grateful for her real estate career.

“I just want to say thank you to God for shutting some doors for me and opening others. I'm so grateful for the loyalty of my repeat customers and clients. I appreciate everyone who has chosen me to represent them,” she graciously says. “Real estate has been my life and will continue to be after all there is no retirement pay! Let's get a move on!”
